About Epoxy Resin:

Epoxy resin is a versatile material used in my art pieces for sealing, preserving flowers, and casting 3D sculptures. I work with liquid resin that cures into a solid piece, resembling glass with an acrylic feel. It is a durable material that lasts indefinitely. However, it may gradually amber/yellow due to UV exposure. While ambering is natural and unavoidable, keeping the piece away from sunlight and heat slows down this process.

Imperfections and Uniqueness:

I have high-quality standards for my work however, perfection cannot be guaranteed as each piece is handmade. Imperfections are expected, and I aim to transform your florals into unique and original art. You are paying for the time, skill, and love put into your project. I kindly request your understanding that I cannot be held responsible for factors beyond my control, including the survival of the flowers and the natural aging of the resin.

Preserving Flowers in Custom Pieces:

The drying process typically spans 2-4 weeks, after which we provide you with a design proposal. Casting your flowers into the final piece takes approximately 4-10 weeks. Please note that unforeseen circumstances or requested modifications may extend these timelines.

Leftover Flowers and Pins:

Leftover flowers are disposed of after a week unless specified. Pins and ribbons are not kept unless requested.

Resin Art Care:

Keep the piece away from sunlight and heat, treat it like glass, and avoid abrasive chemicals. Clean with a microfiber towel and use colorless, gentle oils to restore shine.

Flower Care:

It’s essential to maintain the freshness of your flowers by keeping them cool and hydrated before, during, and after your event.

Before and after: While refrigerating your flowers when not on display is advisable, it’s crucial to ensure that the temperature is not excessively cold. Additionally, avoid storing your flowers alongside fruits or vegetables in the refrigerator, as they emit gases that can accelerate the spoiling process.

If you’re unsure of the temperature of your refrigerator, placing them in the coolest room, not in direct sunlight will work as well.

During your event: Be sure to keep your flowers away from direct sunlight and when not being held make sure to have a vase of water to place the stems in to keep them hydrated.

For Flower Pickup and Shipping:

Pickup: If your event takes place within our service area (Tucson, Vail, Marana, Sahuarita, and Green Valley, Arizona), we’ll arrange to pick up your bouquet the day after your event or if it’s more convenient you can drop it off to us.

Shipping: If you’re outside our service area please follow the instructions below.

To ensure the best preservation outcome for your cherished bouquet, please follow these guidelines for shipping:

1. Timing: Ship the bouquet to our address as soon as possible after the event. Ideally, aim for the day after the occasion to maintain the freshness of the flowers.

2. Packaging: Carefully pack the bouquet to prevent damage during transit. Cut the stems at a slant and make them as short as possible but still being able to wrap the stems in a damp paper towel for hydration. Place the bouquet in a sturdy box, and secure it with newspapers or Kraft paper to minimize movement.

3. Shipping Method: Choose a shipping option that guarantees next-day delivery, such as Next-Day Shipping or Priority Mail. This ensures that the flowers arrive promptly and in optimal condition.

4. Special Considerations: If the event falls on a weekend and next-day delivery isn’t available, aim to ship the bouquet on the following Monday to minimize delay.

By following these steps, you can help us preserve the beauty of your bouquet for years to come. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Flower Appearance in Resin:

Flowers dry differently; vibrant colors stay true, while reds/purples darken, and whites yellow. Thin flowers may develop translucent spots. Some florals dry completely brown. I have extensive knowledge and experience with drying flowers however, I cannot control flower reactions to resin.
