Professional Wedding Bouquet Drying Terms

Please Read Before Purchasing

Please read these terms carefully before purchasing the Professional Wedding Bouquet Drying Service. By purchasing this service, you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to the following terms.

Our goal is to preserve your flowers as beautifully as possible. However, fresh flowers are natural, delicate and unpredictable. The final appearance of dried flowers depends on the type, condition and freshness of the flowers when they arrive, as well as how each individual flower responds to the drying process.

1. The Condition of Your Flowers Matters

The final result can only be as good as the condition of the flowers when they arrive.

For the best possible outcome, your bouquet should be delivered or shipped to us as soon as possible after your wedding. The longer flowers remain without professional care, the more they can wilt, bruise, discolor, shed petals or deteriorate.

Please follow all flower care and delivery instructions provided after booking.

2. Our Professional Drying Process

Your flowers are professionally dried using silica gel, not pressed or flattened. Our goal is to gently remove moisture while maintaining the natural three dimensional shape and character of each flower as much as possible.

For proper drying, most flowers are carefully removed from their stems and individually prepared before being placed into silica gel. The silica surrounds the flowers and draws out moisture while helping the blooms retain their natural form.

Because every flower is different, some flowers may respond differently to the drying process. While we take great care to preserve the natural shape and beauty of your flowers, we cannot guarantee that every bloom will retain its exact original appearance.

3. Natural Color Changes Are Expected

Flowers do not always retain their original color when dried.

Some flowers may become darker, lighter or change color completely during the drying process. This is a natural characteristic of dried flowers and is not considered a defect.

For example, red roses can become extremely deep in color and may appear burgundy, deep purple or almost black once fully dried. Other flowers may develop brown, tan or muted tones.

Tropical flowers and tropical foliage can be particularly unpredictable because they often contain a significant amount of moisture and may brown or change color during drying.

4. Flowers May Deepen in Color

As moisture is removed from a flower, its natural pigments can become more concentrated. As a result, some flowers may appear significantly darker after drying than they did when they were fresh.

This is a natural part of the drying process and cannot be prevented or predicted with complete accuracy.

5. Succulents Cannot Be Dried

We are unable to professionally dry succulents. Because of their high moisture content and structure, they do not respond properly to our drying process and cannot be accepted as part of this service.

6. Frozen Flowers Cannot Be Dried

Flowers that have been frozen, partially frozen or exposed to freezing temperatures cannot be accepted for professional drying.

Freezing can damage the cellular structure of fresh flowers and may cause significant deterioration once the flowers thaw.

7. Some Flowers May Not Survive the Drying Process

Even when flowers arrive in good condition, some flowers may not remain intact during drying.

Certain flowers or delicate portions of flowers may become brittle, lose petals, separate or fall apart as moisture is removed.

If a flower does not remain intact after drying, it cannot be reconstructed or guaranteed to hold together.

Only flowers and floral pieces that remain stable and suitable for safekeeping will be placed in your keepsake box.

8. Drying Takes Time

Professional drying is a slow process and requires patience.

Your flowers will require a minimum of one month to fully dry. Some flowers may require additional time depending on their size, moisture content, density and type.

Your flowers will not be returned until they have been sufficiently dried for safekeeping.

9. Your Dried Flowers Will Be Carefully Packaged

Once your flowers are fully dried, they will be thoughtfully placed in your keepsake box and packaged for safekeeping.

Silica gel packets will be included in the box to help control moisture.

The keepsake box is intended for indoor storage in a cool, dry environment.

10. Proper Storage Is Essential

Dried flowers remain delicate and can be damaged by heat, humidity and moisture.

Do not store your dried flowers in a garage, storage shed, attic, vehicle, outdoor area, bathroom or other location subject to excessive heat, humidity or temperature fluctuations.

Once your dried flowers have been returned to you, you are responsible for storing and caring for them properly. Arizona Blossom Cellar is not responsible for damage, deterioration, fading, mold, moisture damage or other changes that occur after the flowers have been returned to you.

11. Dried Flowers Are Fragile

Dried flowers are naturally fragile and can break, crumble or shed petals if handled roughly.

Please handle your dried flowers gently and avoid unnecessary movement or handling.

Some natural shedding or breakage may occur during transportation or storage and is not considered a defect.

12. No Guarantee of Exact Appearance

Because every bouquet is different, we cannot guarantee that your dried flowers will retain their original color, size, shape, texture or appearance.

We also cannot guarantee that every flower in your fresh bouquet will remain intact after drying.

Our professional drying process is designed to give your flowers the best opportunity for a beautiful result while preserving their natural character.

13. Flowers Are Accepted Based on Their Condition

By submitting your flowers, you understand that Arizona Blossom Cellar cannot reverse deterioration that has already begun before the flowers arrive.

We reserve the right to determine whether flowers are suitable for the drying process based on their condition upon arrival.

If flowers arrive severely wilted, damaged, moldy, frozen or otherwise unsuitable for drying, we cannot guarantee a successful drying result.

14. Shipping and Delivery

If you are shipping your flowers, you are responsible for following all provided packaging and shipping instructions.

Arizona Blossom Cellar is not responsible for damage caused by shipping delays, carrier mishandling, extreme temperatures, improper packaging or other circumstances occurring while flowers are in transit.

For the best possible outcome, flowers should be shipped using the recommended shipping method and as soon as possible after the wedding.

15. Natural Results Are Part of the Beauty

Dried flowers are not intended to look exactly as they did on your wedding day.

Their color, texture and form may change as they dry. These changes are a natural part of preserving real flowers and are what make each bouquet uniquely yours.

By purchasing this service, you understand and accept that the final result will reflect the natural characteristics of your flowers.

16. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. Because your Wedding Bouquet Drying Service requires us to reserve space and prepare for the arrival of your flowers, the following cancellation policy applies.

You may cancel your service within 72 hours of purchase and receive a refund, less a 3% processing fee to cover payment processing costs.

After the 72 hour cancellation period, the service is non refundable.

If your wedding is postponed or canceled after the 72 hour period, we are happy to transfer your service to a new wedding date, subject to availability.

Once your flowers have been received by Arizona Blossom Cellar, the service is non refundable because the professional drying process has begun or preparations for the drying process have been made.

If flowers arrive in a condition that makes professional drying impossible, we will contact you to discuss the situation. A refund is not guaranteed based on the condition of the flowers upon arrival, as the condition of the flowers is outside of our control.

Gift certificates are non refundable and may not be redeemed for cash. Gift certificates may be transferred to the recipient for whom they were purchased.
